Background

Under the leadership of Mr. Alexander Jonathan, Fighter Wings Aviation Academy started its operations with the launch of a Diploma program in 2014 Vadapalani with 180 students. The academy was flourishing and in 2017, a trust was founded and a proprietorship firm was established. This was also the same year when they obtained a government approval to conduct three-year aided courses, namely B. Com, BBA, and MBA programs.

The institution is recognised by Alagappa University and now offers a wide range of courses such as Diploma‑level programs in BSV Aviation, Catering and Hotel Management, BBA Airline, Shipping and Logistics management, BCom, PG MBA Airline and Aviation Management.

Over the years, the academy expanded its branches in Madurai, Salem, Thanjavur, and Dharampur. 

With nearly a decade of experience in the aviation education industry, Fighter Wings Aviation Academy had steadily evolved into a trusted institution, committed to delivering quality education, practical exposure, and career‑focused learning aligned with industry standards. 

Need for Growth

Building upon its growing credibility, the academy expanded its academic portfolio by launching Degree‑level programs in 2019, thereby broadening opportunities for students aspiring to pursue higher education and professional careers in the aviation sector. 

Over time, Mr. Jonathan aspired to build an academy on his own land instead of rented real estate for which he required a loan. He aspired to build a permanent campus with better tech enabled facilities, accurate training, and a stronger future. And to pursue this, he started approaching various financial intuitions.
